Continuing professional development (CPD) is essential for maintaining nurses’ professional competence, supporting lifelong learning, and ensuring the quality and safety of patient care. Effective CPD management requires an understanding of nurses’ learning needs, perceived programme quality, participation barriers, and the transfer of acquired knowledge into clinical practice. This study explored nurses’ perceptions of CPD management and provision within the Mures County Branch of the Romanian Order of Nurses, Midwives and Medical Assistants (OAMGMAMR), with particular emphasis on programme quality, learning priorities, participation barriers, and perceived professional impact.
