. Self-confidence and knowledge about content and students are two essential things in the learning process in the classroom. The results of the educational research literature agree that prospective teachers must have good content and student knowledge, and an adequate level of self-confidence must accompany this. This research aims to describe the knowledge of content and students and the Self-confidence of prospective mathematics teacher students in a number of materials. The methodology employed in this study is qualitative descriptive research, with purposive sampling as the sampling method. The subjects of the research were two pre-service teacher of Mathematics Education Study Program.
